Mid week meeting

Since we love to get any chance to meet and knit over a cup of coffee or tea , so we are adding a new official day to our meeting in addition to the 2nd Friday of the month...

so our meetings are as follows:

-2nd friday of the month ----Caribou Coffee Marina Mall , from noon onward..

-4rth Tuesday of the month ----10am onward and the location to be assigned on Friday...

So this coming Tuesday 22nd November we will meet at Shakespeare & Co - Guardian Towers 31rst st- Rehhan area in AD.... (check their facebook page for a location map)

UPDATE!

Whew it's been a while since this blog has been updated but I can explain.

If you have been following knitting duck than you probably have noticed that I have left the UAE and now am back state side

I know there have been a lot of changes to the group but they do still meet up! 

Look for the UAE Group at ravelry (it's a great site for knitters / crocheters) and that's the best place to find out when and where the groups (there's one in Abu Dhabi and another in Dubai) are meeting up!

This Friday 28th of January 2011 we have a get together to bid farewell to our "Amir" Emanuel , at the same time and venue.....hope to see you all there...

The U-knitted Amiras are still meeting as schedule and we welcome all thread artists :).....

World Wide Knit in Public day or as know by WWKIP is between the 12th and 20th of June this year , but since our monthly meeting is on the 11th of June so we will hold this event on that day..
there are going to be some fun things to do on that day so be prepared :)
